Asian Paints to Build ₹2,000 Crore Mega Plant in Indore, Boosting Jobs and Industry

In a major boost to Madhya Pradesh’s industrial and employment landscape, Asian Paints Ltd has announced plans to establish a new manufacturing plant in Indore with an investment of ₹2,000 crore.

The upcoming facility will have an impressive annual production capacity of 4 lakh kilolitres (KL) of water-based paints, making it one of the company’s largest and most advanced manufacturing units in India. The plant is expected to generate hundreds of new jobs, significantly contributing to the region’s economic growth and skill development.

The initiative aligns with India’s ongoing push to strengthen its manufacturing ecosystem and promote self-reliance (Atmanirbhar Bharat) by encouraging domestic production and job creation.

Asian Paints, one of the country’s leading paint manufacturers, stated that the new facility will incorporate state-of-the-art technology and sustainable production practices, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.

This project not only underscores Madhya Pradesh’s growing industrial potential but also highlights Asian Paints’ confidence in India’s manufacturing future.
