“Most Edible Wafer Sheets Used in Photo Cake Creation”

In a spectacular display of creativity and culinary artistry, Cochin Bakery from Kozhikode and Brownnies Bakery from Kannur have jointly set a record for the maximum number of edible wafer sheets used for photo cakes. The two bakeries collaborated to create a collection of 900 A4-sized edible wafer sheets, each intricately designed to represent themes celebrating India’s rich heritage.

These wafer sheets depicted a wide range of themes, including Women Empowerment, Famous Women Personalities, the G20 Summit, the Post Independence Era in India, and the State of Kerala. The remarkable collection was showcased at the Jawahar Municipal Stadium in Kannur, Kerala, during the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav event, which marked the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.

The impressive display, spanning over two days—March 26th and 27th, 2023—was a testament to the power of food as an artistic medium and a tribute to the nation’s cultural and political milestones.

This achievement not only highlights the unique combination of food artistry and national pride but also stands as a monumental symbol of creativity in the culinary world.
