In a unique and inspiring initiative to raise awareness about environmental conservation, Sun Flower Kids School, Limbasi, in collaboration with Sharda Social Welfare Trust – “MAITRY” Sanstha, Nadiad, organized a world record program aimed at encouraging students to save trees and nurture the environment.
On 11th August 2019, a group of 350 children, including both differently-abled and normal students, participated together in a heartfelt ceremony where they tied rakhis to 1100 tree plants, symbolizing their promise to protect and care for the environment. This event was held at Pariej Village, Ta.- Matar, Gujarat, and successfully set a New World Record.
Adding a special touch to the occasion, all the rakhis used for the event were designed and crafted within five days by the differently-abled students of the Sharda Social Welfare Trust – “MAITRY” Sanstha. This effort not only highlighted environmental awareness but also showcased the creativity and talent of differently-abled children, fostering inclusivity and empowerment.
The program served as a powerful reminder of the importance of tree conservation and promoted a spirit of unity and responsibility among the younger generation to protect the planet.
