World’s Largest Hammock

The world’s largest hammock has been officially recorded by Guinness World Records, marking a quirky yet impressive milestone in oversized leisure design. The giant hammock was created by the Margot brand (a division of Nestlé Česko) and unveiled on 1 October 2025 on Štvanice Island in Prague.

This record‑breaking hammock boasts a massive 233.009 m² (2,508.08 ft²) surface area the largest ever measured for a hammock with dimensions of approximately 23.34 m (76 ft 5 in) long and 10.1 m (33 ft 1 in) wide, offering plenty of space for lounging and relaxation on an extraordinary scale.

Organised as part of a promotional event, the colourful and striking hammock captured public attention as a fun and engaging way to push the boundaries of size for a classic outdoor favourite. Its achievement highlights how everyday objects when built to grand proportions can become headline‑worthy, record‑setting spectacles.

Whether for world record enthusiasts or fans of whimsical oversized installations, the World’s Largest Hammock in Prague offers a stunning example of creativity and community engagement on a laid‑back, giant scale.
