India’s motorsport sensation Sanam Sekhon, popularly known as the “Drift King of India,” has officially etched his name in the Guinness World Records with a jaw-dropping performance that left tyre smoke and adrenaline hanging in the air.
Sekhon achieved the record for the “Longest Twin Vehicle Drift” alongside his teammate during a high-speed event at Chandigarh’s Motor Speedway, pushing both man and machine to their absolute limits. The dynamic duo drifted their cars side by side — synchronized to perfection — over an astonishing distance of over 6 kilometers, maintaining flawless control and balance throughout the run.
The achievement marks a major milestone for Indian motorsport, showcasing the country’s growing prowess in precision driving and automotive excellence on the global stage.
“Drifting isn’t just about power — it’s about rhythm, timing, and trust. You dance with danger at 200 km/h, and one wrong move can end it all. But that’s what makes it so beautiful.”
His specially modified drift car, built with a custom suspension setup and high-performance tyres, endured massive stress during the attempt. Still, Sekhon’s precise throttle control and lightning-fast reflexes turned the track into a canvas of speed and smoke.
Guinness World Records adjudicators confirmed the achievement, commending the technical expertise and safety standards maintained throughout the event.
This victory cements Sanam Sekhon’s place among the world’s elite drifters — and inspires a new generation of Indian motorsport enthusiasts to chase their dreams on and off the track.
