The organization encouraged girls like Simu to pursue their passions and helped them develop their talents.
When Simu expressed her desire to become a cricketer, the team at Battle for Blindness fully supported her and provided cricket training. Her dedication, courage, and relentless effort began to pay off. Simu’s talent and perseverance earned her a place on India’s Blind Women’s Cricket Team, where she played a pivotal role in the World Cup final between India and Nepal.

Alongside her sporting achievements, Simu is preparing for the future by learning typing skills and pursuing government job exams, proving her commitment to personal growth beyond the cricket field.
