On the auspicious occasion of the Shri Anand Garba Maha Adhiveshan 2020 held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, a remarkable world record was achieved by the Akhil Brahmand Maa Bahuchar Anand Garba Mahamandal Trust Team.
A total of 5,825 participants from across the globe gathered at Mai Dham, Tapowan Circle, Motera, Ahmedabad, to perform continuous Betha Garba — a form of spiritual singing — while seated together in a group for an extraordinary duration of 12 hours.
The event commenced promptly at 9:00 AM on 5th January 2020 and concluded at 9:00 PM the same day, demonstrating unwavering devotion and endurance. This grand spiritual gathering successfully set a new world record, celebrating the rich cultural and devotional heritage of Gujarat.
The massive participation and seamless organization by the Trust reflected the unity and dedication of devotees worldwide, marking an unforgettable milestone in the history of traditional Garba celebrations.
