“Accident-Free India” Traffic Awareness Campaign Sets New Record in Surat

In a groundbreaking initiative to promote road safety, Ashoksinh Chauhan, ACP of Surat City Traffic Police, and Dr. Arun Lahoti, Advocate, in collaboration with a dedicated 9-member team from TAG (Traffic Awareness Group), organized a large-scale traffic awareness campaign titled “Accident-Free India”.

The campaign, held in a single day, successfully reached out to over thousands of citizens across 101 villages in and around Surat City, educating them about road safety rules, responsible driving habits, and accident prevention.

This mega-awareness drive set a New World Record on 7th February 2021 at the Surat Police Commissioner Office, Athwa Gate, Surat, Gujarat.

The event was strongly supported by the proactive TAG team members: Rajesh Maheshwari, Vijay Lahoti, Mukesh Jain, Vinod Chandak, Kapil Somani, Vikas Lahoty, Pawan Mundhra, Arun Asawa, Mahesh Mohta, along with the committed officers from the Surat Police Department.

The Genius Foundation and World Records India proudly presented a certificate of appreciation to honor the remarkable efforts and commitment of the team towards building a safer and accident-free nation through education and civic awareness.
