After conquering music charts across the globe, the iconic Bollywood song “Munni Badnaam Hui” has now etched its name into history by setting a world record for the most-streamed Indian song globally.

Originally featured in the 2010 blockbuster movie Dabangg, starring Salman Khan and Malaika Arora, Munni Badnaam Hui became a cultural phenomenon upon release. Its catchy beats, vibrant choreography, and infectious energy won hearts worldwide, and now, more than a decade later, the song has achieved an incredible milestone.

According to the latest update from the Guinness World Records, Munni Badnaam Hui has surpassed 1.5 billion streams across platforms, making it the most played Indian song ever in history.

Speaking about the achievement, singer Mamata Sharma said, “It’s a surreal feeling. We created the song with so much love and fun, and to see it still resonating with people across generations is overwhelming.”
