Largest Private Collection of Mohd. Rafi Saheb’s Songs Sets New World Record

Mr. Rafi Arun Gautam, born on December 3, 1965, a passionate and devoted fan of the legendary playback singer Padma Shri Mohd. Rafi Sahab, has created a remarkable tribute by building a dedicated museum at his home named “Mohd. Rafi Smriti Sangrahalaya”. Located in Dev Nagar, Karol Bagh, New Delhi, the museum houses an astonishing collection of over 6,000 rare and vintage song records in various formats including 78 RPM, LPs, SPs, EPs, CDs, cassettes, and MP3s.

This extraordinary collection earned Mr. Gautam a new world record on July 31, 2020, officially recognized for having one of the largest private archives of Mohd. Rafi’s musical legacy.

Beyond this monumental effort, Mr. Rafi Arun Gautam has been honored with the prestigious Mohd. Rafi Ratna Award three times by distinguished organizations, including the Mohd. Rafi Foundation, acknowledging his dedication to preserving and promoting the timeless music of Mohd. Rafi Sahab.
