World’s Tallest Lord Vishnu Statue Unveiled in Bali, Indonesia

Bali has added a breathtaking new landmark to its skyline — the world’s tallest statue of Lord Vishnu, standing an awe-inspiring 400 feet tall atop the mythical bird Garuda.

The monument, located in the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, is a dazzling fusion of art, spirituality, and engineering. Crafted over years by master sculptors and engineers, the statue depicts Lord Vishnu — the Hindu god of preservation — riding Garuda, the divine eagle-like creature, symbolizing protection, courage, and loyalty.

Towering higher than the Statue of Liberty, the bronze-and-copper masterpiece glistens under the Balinese sun, making it visible from miles away. Visitors can explore the massive base, which houses cultural exhibits, art galleries, and a panoramic observation deck offering sweeping views of Bali’s coastline.

“This statue is not just a monument, it’s a spiritual beacon and a celebration of Bali’s cultural heritage,” said I Gusti Ngurah Ardhana, head of the cultural park.

The Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue has already begun attracting global attention, drawing pilgrims, tourists, and photographers eager to witness one of the world’s most spectacular tributes to Hindu mythology.
