PAWS Sets New Record by Facilitating Adoption of 120 Homeless Puppies in a Single Day

In a heartfelt and impactful initiative aimed at encouraging compassion and responsible pet ownership, PAWS (Protection of Animals & Welfare Society), Jaipur, Rajasthan organized a Mega Dog Adoption Camp on 14th February.

The event was a resounding success, where 123 citizens came forward to adopt a total of 120 homeless puppies—all born on the streets—offering them loving, permanent homes. The adoption drive was not only a celebration of love on Valentine’s Day but also a powerful step towards animal welfare, street dog rehabilitation, and community engagement.

With this compassionate act, PAWS has officially set a New World Record for the maximum number of puppy adoptions in a single camp held on one day in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

In recognition of this remarkable feat, the Genius Foundation & World Records of India proudly presented a World Record Certificate to PAWS for their outstanding, dedicated, and selfless service to the nation. The organization was commended for its efforts in rehabilitating orphaned and injured animals, providing shelter and care for homeless dogs, and inspiring citizens to take compassionate action.
