World’s Largest Ten Commandments Building

The Philippines has earned international recognition by setting a Guinness World Record for the largest Ten Commandments structure ever created. The monumental installation stands as both a spiritual landmark and a testament to faith‑inspired craftsmanship.

The record‑breaking structure, located at Dominican Hill’s Prayer Mountain in Baguio City, was officially certified for its impressive size — measuring 152.90 square metres (1,645.8 square feet) — making it the biggest Ten Commandments tablet ever recognised on record.

Commissioned by Grace Galindez‑Gupana, president of the Kingdom of Jerusalem Hallelujah Foundation International, the towering edifice was built as a place of reflection, prayer and community gathering. It is designed to resemble the traditional stone tablets of Moses, with the biblical commandments boldly inscribed on its surface.

Unveiled in 2011, the creation has since become a notable cultural and spiritual site in Baguio City, drawing pilgrims, tourists and local residents who visit to admire both its scale and its message of faith.

City officials and community leaders emphasised that the world record achievement not only highlights the craftsmanship and dedication of its creators but also strengthens Baguio’s reputation as a city rich in cultural and religious heritage.
