World’s Largest Box of Chocolates

Russell Stover Chocolates has officially claimed the title for the World’s Largest Box of Chocolates, setting a new Guinness World Record that’s making chocoholics everywhere gasp with amazement.

Unveiled on April 17, 2023, the astonishing chocolate box weighed in at 2,547.49 kg (5,616 lb 4 oz) roughly the weight of an adult black rhinoceros and dwarfs previous record holders.

This massive replica of the brand’s classic assorted chocolate box measured 9.27 m × 4.69 m × 0.47 m (over 30 ft × 15 ft × 1.5 ft) and was meticulously designed and fabricated in Kansas City, Missouri, as part of Russell Stover’s 100th anniversary celebration.

Inside the oversized box, a team carefully loaded a mix of giant chocolates some weighing up to 16 kg (35 lb) alongside hundreds of kilograms of classic chocolate-covered almonds and other treats, all sorted to meet Guinness verification standards.

The record-breaking reveal drew a crowd of nearly 300 spectators and was officiated by a Guinness adjudicator who verified every delectable detail. Following the event, the monumental chocolate box is slated for display at one of Russell Stover’s retail locations, and many of the chocolates will be donated, gifted, or raffled to benefit charity partners and community programs.

Whether you’re a cocoa connoisseur or just love a good record-breaking story, this world’s largest box of chocolates proves that even the sweetest achievements can come in giant sizes.
