The Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026 initiative has already surpassed last year’s Guinness World Record for participant registrations, with over 3.80 crore (38,044,593) students, teachers, and parents signing up so far and registrations continuing until January 11, 2026. This figure already exceeds the 3.53 crore registrations that earned PPC the Guinness World Record for the “Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month” during the 2025 edition.

Breakdown of the registrations shows a massive student participation base with 3,53,70,189 registrations, along with 21,84,595 teachers and 4,89,809 parents engaging on the MyGov platform highlighting widespread enthusiasm across India’s education community.

Launched as an annual flagship event helmed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Pariksha Pe Charcha aims to address exam-related stress, promote effective preparation strategies, and encourage a balanced approach to academics and personal growth. During the interaction, the prime minister responds to questions submitted by participants, offering guidance and motivation ahead of crucial exam seasons.

The iconic programme, now in its ninth edition, continues to resonate with students, teachers, and parents nationwide, turning exam anxiety into an opportunity for meaningful dialogue and support. With registrations edging closer to 4 crore, PPC 2026 is poised to reaffirm its global impact and further strengthen its presence as one of the largest citizen-engagement initiatives in the world.
