Mexico is set to redefine the global theme park industry with the launch of BON — Beauty of Nature, the world’s first luxury theme park, scheduled to open in 2026 at VidantaWorld Nuevo Vallarta on the Pacific coast. Spanning a vast 2,500-acre integrated resort, the park blends immersive attractions with five-star hospitality, creating an entirely new category of entertainment tourism.
Unlike traditional theme parks that focus on crowds and fast-paced rides, BON places luxury, comfort, and exclusivity at its core. The park will feature 23 attractions spread across multiple themed lands, including BON Plaza, Fantasy Gardens, Empire of Light, and Land of Legends. These areas will combine thrill rides, family-friendly experiences, and advanced media-driven attractions designed to immerse visitors in nature-inspired storytelling.
Dining and shopping are seamlessly integrated into the experience. Guests will have access to 25 upscale restaurants and 16 boutique retail spaces, all woven directly into the park’s landscape rather than separated from it. The goal, developers say, is to ensure that dining, leisure, and entertainment feel like part of a single, curated luxury environment.
In a departure from conventional theme park operations, access during the park’s first year will be exclusive to guests staying at VidantaWorld’s luxury hotels. This limited-entry approach is designed to minimize crowds, reduce wait times, and maintain a premium experience before the park eventually opens to the wider public.
Entertainment at BON extends well beyond rides. A major highlight will be LÚDŌ, a Cirque du Soleil water-themed dinner show set to debut in a $200 million custom-built theater. The production promises a fusion of acrobatics, live performance, culinary art, and cutting-edge stage technology, positioning it as one of the most ambitious live shows ever created for a theme park setting.
Tourism experts believe BON could reshape expectations for destination entertainment worldwide, particularly among high-end travelers seeking immersive experiences without the congestion of traditional parks. The project also strengthens Mexico’s position as a leader in luxury tourism and large-scale experiential development.
