Largest Jellycat Collection With 877 Items

A 19-year-old teenager from Bedford has officially entered the record books after assembling the largest collection of Jellycat toys and memorabilia in the world, according to Guinness World Records. The collection, which includes 877 unique items ranging from plush toys to stickers, bags and keyrings, was verified in December following a detailed counting process that took several hours.

Hope Roberts began her Jellycat journey just two years ago when she picked up her first soft toy a Jellycat bunny for just 20 pence at a local charity shop. What started with that humble purchase quickly snowballed into a remarkable collection that now fills her bedroom and continues to grow.

Roberts said she was “completely shocked” when Guinness officials revealed the final count, admitting she didn’t know the full size of her collection until the title was officially confirmed. Since being awarded the record, she believes her tally may be approaching 1,000 items, with rare and limited-edition pieces among her treasures.

The Jellycat brand, which began in 1999, has surged in popularity over recent years, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, fueling both collecting and online communities dedicated to these beloved soft toys.

Hope regularly shares updates on her collection via social media, where she has amassed a large following of fellow fans. Her growing fame has even attracted comments from notable figures, including socialite Nicky Hilton, a moment Roberts described as “crazy” and exciting. For fans of quirky world records and toy collectors alike, Roberts’ achievement stands as a testament to passion, perseverance, and the joy of collecting one Jellycat at a time.
