Tanvee Vallem Rising Fast in the World of Junior Pool

At just 12 years old, Tanvee “Lilac Tiger” Vallem is already making waves in the competitive world of billiards, balancing schoolwork, her love for Taylor Swift, and a rapidly growing career as a junior pool prodigy.

Tanvee first picked up a cue in 2022, and within five weeks, she entered her very first billiards tournament — a bold step that hinted at her natural talent. Since then, her rise has been nothing short of remarkable.

This past June, she claimed first place in the 14-and-under division at the Connecticut State Junior Pool Championships, securing her spot as one of the most promising young players in the sport. Her steady focus, precision, and calmness at the table have earned her the nickname “Lilac Tiger,” symbolizing both her gentle demeanor and fierce competitive spirit.

Later this month, Tanvee will take an even bigger leap as she travels to Gandia, Spain, to compete in the Predator WPA Junior World Championships. She will represent India, her home country, in the 19-and-under girls’ category — a significant achievement for someone so young.

“I still feel like a regular kid,” Tanvee says, “but when I’m at the table, everything just becomes clear. I love the game.”

Her coaches describe her as an exceptional talent with a rare combination of discipline, instinct, and passion — qualities that could one day lead her to the top of the professional billiards world.

As she prepares for the global stage, Tanvee continues to inspire young athletes everywhere, proving that age is no barrier when dedication meets talent.
