The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) inaugurated its pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, announcing that it will showcase multiple Guinness World Record titles achieved under the Social Need-based Preventive Action (SNSPA) initiative.
The pavilion was formally opened with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, attended by senior officials and healthcare representatives. The image shows participants performing the ritual at a vibrant exhibition setup decorated with floral arrangements, thematic lighting, and display sections highlighting India’s public health achievements.
MoHFW officials said the SNSPA programme has set several Guinness World Records over the past year, reflecting India’s expanding focus on preventive health awareness. These record titles include massive participation campaigns, public screenings, and nationwide health outreach activities.
A senior ministry spokesperson stated that the pavilion will allow visitors to experience interactive health exhibits, digital learning modules, and detailed showcases of the record-setting initiatives. “Our goal is to highlight India’s leadership in preventive health and the collective effort that made these global recognitions possible,” the official said.
The IITF pavilion will be open to the public throughout the event, with special sessions scheduled on immunisation, wellness, digital health tools, and community-driven preventive care.
MoHFW’s participation this year aims to inspire greater citizen involvement in health programmes and reinforce the country’s commitment to large-scale health transformation.
