Jatin Jain Becomes First Indian to Compete in All Rounds of 2025 World Rally-Raid Championship

Indian motorsports ace Jatin Jain has etched his name into the record books, becoming the first Indian competitor to take on the entire calendar of the gruelling 2025 FIM World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC).

Jain’s monumental campaign sees him compete in all five rounds of the prestigious championship, often referred to as the ultimate test of endurance, skill, and navigation. The 2025 season saw Jain race across some of the planet’s most challenging terrains:

  • Round 1: Dakar Rally (Saudi Arabia)
  • Round 2: Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge (UAE)
  • Round 3: BP Ultimate Rally-Raid (South Africa)
  • Round 4: BP Ultimate Rally-Raid Portugal (Portugal)
  • Round 5: Rallye du Maroc (Morocco)

A seasoned national champion in Supercross and Rally, Jain’s commitment to the full World Championship season marks a significant leap for Indian motorsport on the global stage. Competing as a privateer in the Rally 2 class on his Kove 450 Rally bike, Jain has battled unforgiving desert dunes, challenging navigation, and extreme climates in his pursuit of rally-raid excellence.

“To represent India in a single round of the W2RC is an honour, but to commit to the entire championship is a dream realised through years of dedication and sacrifice,” said Jatin Jain. “This full season is about more than just racing; it’s about proving that Indian talent can compete consistently at the highest level of rally-raid. I hope this effort inspires a new generation of Indian riders.”

Jain successfully completed the Dakar Rally, the opening and most challenging round, and has since maintained a relentless schedule, navigating logistical and financial hurdles that often confront private competitors at this elite level. His historic participation in all five events cements his status as a pioneer and a true ironman of Indian rally-raid.
