A young yoga prodigy from Udupi, Tanushree Pithrody, is poised to achieve another remarkable milestone as she prepares to attempt her 10th world record. A second-year PU student at St. Cecily’s School, Tanushree is planning to demonstrate an astounding 300 yoga asanas in one hour at a special event in Bahrain on October 24.
This latest record attempt aims to break her own previous feat, in which she demonstrated 245 yoga asanas in just 45 minutes in 2023, a record that earned her a place in the Golden Book of World Records.
During a press conference on September 17, Tanushree’s father, Uday Kumar, expressed his pride, saying, “Tanushree has already made her mark in the Golden Book of World Records. This time, she is determined to surpass her previous record and achieve a new milestone, attempting her 10th World Record in Yoga asanas.”
Tanushree’s previous accomplishments include multiple entries in the Golden Book of World Records and two Guinness World Records, showcasing her extraordinary flexibility and dedication to yoga. The upcoming event in Bahrain, organized by the Bahrain Kannada Federation, will be attended by the Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, Vinod Jacob, and other dignitaries.
Tanushree’s journey is a testament to her incredible talent and unwavering commitment to the ancient discipline of yoga. As she prepares for this latest challenge, the young yogini continues to inspire others with her passion and ability to push the boundaries of human potential.
