UK Teenager Solves Record-Breaking Puzzle Challenge on Stilts

A 13-year-old British boy has turned two unusual talents into a world-record-breaking achievement. Micah Kingham, a teenager from St Albans, has officially claimed the Guinness World Records title for the most rotating puzzle cubes solved on stilts in one hour, a feat that required an incredible combination of balance and mental agility.

The record attempt, which was also a charity fundraiser, took place on November 14, 2024. To succeed, Micah had to solve a minimum of 60 cubes while remaining stable on a pair of stilts. He shattered that target by completing a remarkable 67 solves in just one hour.

Micah, who first learned to solve a puzzle cube in just five days, then picked up stilt-walking as a new hobby. The idea to combine both skills came to him when he was thinking of a unique way to raise money for a charity called The Big Ask, which supports children with special needs.

“My record is about showing that if you find something you’re good at, you can do anything you put your mind to,” Micah said. The attempt was witnessed by Guinness World Records officials and was a testament to his focus and dedication. His achievement not only puts him in the record books but also highlights the importance of using one’s unique talents for a good cause.
