Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship student interaction programme, ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025’, has created history by securing a place in the Guinness World Records. The program, which has become a widely celebrated national initiative, was officially awarded for being the “Largest Online Counseling and Interaction Session for Students” in the world.
Held earlier this year, the 2025 edition saw a record-breaking participation of over 3.2 crore students, parents, and teachers from across India and several countries abroad. The dialogue focused on exam stress management, motivation, and practical life skills — all delivered in PM Modi’s signature candid and inspiring style.
Guinness World Records officials confirmed the achievement and presented the honour to the Ministry of Education during a special felicitation ceremony in New Delhi.
“This isn’t just a record; it’s a recognition of India’s commitment to youth empowerment and mental well-being,” said Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
PM Modi took to social media to express his gratitude:
“Pariksha Pe Charcha has always been close to my heart. I am humbled that this initiative has now received global recognition. This record belongs to every student, teacher, and parent who participated.”
Started in 2018, ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ has grown into a massive movement aimed at transforming the exam season into a celebration rather than a source of stress, inspiring millions of students each year.
With this global honour, India’s educational outreach has reached a new milestone — one that reflects the power of dialogue and digital connection.
