Chinese Driver Sets Guinness World Record by Weaving Through 17 Moving Cars in 30 Seconds

A new benchmark for automotive precision and performance has been set in China, where a GAC Honda Accord sedan has claimed a Guinness World Records title for the most moving cars weaved through in 30 seconds. The daring feat, which required exceptional agility and focus, saw the vehicle expertly navigate through 17 moving sedans in just half a minute.

Under the watchful eye of an official Guinness World Records adjudicator in Xuancheng, Anhui, the record was officially sealed on August 17, 2025. The impressive display of precision driving surpassed the previous record of 16 moving vehicles, which was set by another team just a few months prior.

The record-breaking challenge was a grueling test of the Accord’s engineering. A total of 18 eleventh-generation Accord sedans were used on a controlled test track. One “chasing vehicle” accelerated and weaved through 17 other Accords, which were all moving in a synchronized formation.

According to GAC Honda, the record was a perfect showcase of the Accord’s cutting-edge technologies, including its instantaneous throttle response, advanced chassis dynamics, and precision steering. The company used the achievement to highlight how the Accord’s superior driving quality and dynamic performance continue to make it a leader in its class.

The record stands as a testament to the skill of the professional driver and the robust engineering of the GAC Honda Accord, demonstrating that with the right combination of human talent and mechanical excellence, extraordinary feats are possible.
