Brazilian Cow Breaks World Record, Produces 343 Litres of Milk in Just Three Days

A dairy cow in Brazil has shattered global records by producing an astonishing 343 litres of milk in just three days, a feat celebrated by farmers and dairy experts alike.

The record-setting cow, nicknamed Maravilha (“Marvel” in Portuguese), belongs to a dairy farm in Minas Gerais, a region famed for its rich agricultural heritage. According to the farm’s veterinarians, Maravilha produced an average of 114 litres per day, nearly four times the output of a typical high-yield dairy cow.

The achievement was officially verified by agricultural authorities and recognized as a new Guinness World Record for milk production over 72 hours. Experts credit the feat to a combination of Maravilha’s superior genetics, top-tier nutrition, and meticulous animal care.

“We knew she was special, but this exceeded all expectations,” said João Ribeiro, the farm’s owner. “This record is not just a win for our farm—it’s a proud moment for Brazilian dairy farming.”

The news has sparked excitement in Brazil’s agricultural community, with discussions about how such advancements in breeding and animal husbandry could boost dairy production worldwide.

While Maravilha now enjoys the spotlight, Ribeiro assures she will also enjoy a well-deserved rest after her record-breaking performance.
