The Government of India has conferred the Padma Shri on Shri K. S. Rajanna from Karnataka in recognition of his extraordinary service in the field of Social Work, transforming lives through decades of dedication to the underprivileged and marginalized.
A deeply respected grassroots activist, Shri Rajanna has been a tireless advocate for rural development, Dalit empowerment, education access, and social justice in Karnataka. Working at the intersection of compassion and action, he has championed the rights of the voiceless and created sustainable models for community upliftment.
