The Government of India has conferred the prestigious Padma Shri award on Shri Laxman Bhatt Tailang from Rajasthan for his extraordinary contribution to the field of Art, particularly in the realm of traditional Indian painting and cultural preservation.
A celebrated figure in Rajasthan’s artistic community, Shri Tailang is renowned for his expertise in Rajasthani miniature painting, fresco work, and spiritual-themed art, drawing inspiration from Indian mythology, nature, and folk traditions. His work reflects a perfect blend of aesthetic elegance and cultural depth, upholding the legacy of centuries-old Indian artistic expression.
