Asia’s Largest EDM Festival Returns to India After 3 Years of Silence

After a three-year hiatus that left fans yearning for the beat to drop, Asia’s largest electronic dance music (EDM) festival is making its long-awaited return — and it’s happening once again on Indian soil.

Set to take place this December in Goa, the festival — globally renowned for its massive stages, electrifying lineups, and unmatched coastal vibe — is expected to draw over 500,000 music lovers from across the world.

Festival organizers confirmed that the break, caused by pandemic-related disruptions and logistical hurdles, is finally over. “The spirit never died — it just paused,” said Arjun Malhotra, creative director of the event. “Now, it’s back, bigger, louder, and more immersive than ever before.”

The lineup will feature a stellar mix of global EDM icons and underground sensations, including Martin Garrix, Alesso, Peggy Gou, DJ Snake, and several surprise acts, all performing across multiple themed stages spread across the Goan coastline.

Apart from the music, the festival promises state-of-the-art visuals, AI-driven light shows, drone fireworks, and immersive soundscapes, blending art and technology into an unforgettable sensory experience.

Sustainability will also be a core theme this year, with eco-conscious setups, reusable wristbands, and plastic-free zones introduced across the venue.

Fans, especially those from India’s expanding EDM community, are buzzing with excitement.

“I’ve been counting the days,” said Rhea Kapoor, a 23-year-old DJ from Mumbai. “This isn’t just a concert. It’s a movement.”

With tickets already in high demand and hotels nearly booked out, India is gearing up to become the global heartbeat of EDM once again.
