Aditya Pratap Singh Chauhan, a young innovator from Chhattisgarh, has been conferred the prestigious Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2025 in the field of Innovation, recognizing his outstanding contributions to science and technology aimed at solving real-world problems.

Instituted by the Government of India, the Rashtriya Bal Puraskar is the highest civilian honour for children below 18 years, awarded for exceptional achievements in various fields. Aditya’s pioneering work in creating sustainable, low-cost technological solutions for rural and tribal communities earned him this national accolade.

Among his notable innovations is a solar-powered multipurpose device that provides water purification, lighting, and mobile charging—especially beneficial in electricity-deprived villages. His projects reflect a deep sense of social responsibility, combining science with empathy.

President of India presented the award to Aditya at a special ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, where he was celebrated alongside other child prodigies from across the country. The award includes a medal, a cash prize, and a certificate of recognition.

Expressing his gratitude, Aditya said, “This award is not just mine—it’s for every child who dreams of making a difference. Innovation should not be limited to labs; it must reach the last village.”

With his inspiring journey, Aditya Pratap Singh Chauhan continues to be a beacon of innovation, proving that age is no barrier when it comes to transforming lives.
