After more than three decades of dedication, lifelong James Bond fan Nick Bennett is preparing to part with his record-breaking collection of 007 memorabilia.
Mr Bennett, from Leigh, holds a Guinness World Record for amassing the largest private collection of Bond-themed items, including toys, games, props, and rare collectibles inspired by the iconic film franchise.
Described as “a mission worthy of MI6,” the entire collection — estimated to be worth thousands of pounds — is now being readied for auction.
Speaking about the decision, Bennett said: “It’s been an incredible journey, but it’s time to let go and give others the chance to enjoy what I’ve loved for years. Never say never, but this feels like the right moment.”
Bond fans and collectors from across the globe are expected to bid, hoping to own a piece of cinematic history.
