World’s Biggest Replica Postcard to Mahatma Gandhi Unveiled in Rajkot

M.M. Jasdanwala, proprietor of Kafka’s English Corner, achieved a remarkable feat by organizing the creation of the world’s biggest replica postcard dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. The event took place on 1st and 2nd October 2015, with an impressive 130 participants joining the effort to honor the Father of the Nation.

The postcard, measuring 8×4 feet, was crafted from a single wooden sheet and covered with sun-mica, weighing approximately 40 kilograms. This colossal postcard was permanently installed at Rashtriya Shala, Rajkot, Gujarat, to promote public awareness of Gandhiji’s ideals and legacy. The unique initiative not only celebrated Gandhi Jayanti but also fostered community engagement and creativity in a memorable tribute.
