In a remarkable feat of environmental innovation, the Graphic Era Education Society in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, has created the largest eco-friendly paper ball in the world. Weighing an impressive 500 kilograms, the giant ball was constructed using 421 kilograms of waste papers and 79 kilograms of jute ropes.
The eco-friendly creation stands at a height of 10.4 feet and boasts a circumference of 33.8 feet, underscoring the Society’s commitment to recycling and sustainability.
Under the able supervision of Mr. Yuvraj Joshi and Mr. Yatharth Joshi, 24 dedicated students spent 27 days meticulously assembling the record-breaking paper ball at the GEHU Campus Society Area in Dehradun.
This initiative not only highlights the importance of recycling but also demonstrates how collective efforts can lead to environmental awareness and innovative solutions.
The achievement was officially recognized as a New World Record, putting Dehradun and the Graphic Era Education Society on the global map for environmental stewardship.
