“World Record at Paryushan Parva: Lalitpur Hosts Largest Digambar Jain Shravak Sanskar Shivir”

On the auspicious occasion of Paryushan Parva 2022, the Shri Digambar Jain Panchayat Samiti, Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh organized the longest Shravak Sanskar Shivir, creating a new world record. The event was conducted under the blessings of Aacharya Shri 108 Vidya Sagar Ji Muniraj and the spiritual guidance of Muni Pungav 108 Shri Sudha Sagar Ji Maharaj, Muni Shri Pujya Sagar Ji Maharaj, Elak 105 Shri Dharya Sagar Ji Maharaj, and Kshullak 105 Shri Gambheer Sagar Ji Maharaj.

The 10-day Shravak Sanskar Shivir attracted more than 3,000 participants from Digambar Jain communities across India. It was held at Shri Abhinandnoday Teerth Kshetra, Station Road, Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, concluding on 31st August 2022 with a world record achievement.

The camp provided immersive learning experiences in Jain principles, ethics, and spirituality, fostering unity, and strengthening the moral values of the community. The event highlighted the cultural and spiritual richness of Jainism and its timeless values of non-violence and self-discipline.

This remarkable achievement stands as a testament to the dedication of the Digambar Jain community to preserving and celebrating their heritage through collective participation and spiritual devotion.
