The daughter of legendary window cleaner Terry “Turbo” Burrows has followed in his lightning-fast footsteps by breaking the Guinness World Record for the fastest female window cleaner.
At the Manchester Cleaning Show, Aliscia Burrows posted an impressive time of 16.13 seconds, narrowly beating the previous women’s record by 0.15 seconds. Her father, Terry, has held the men’s record for an astonishing 29 years, with a time of 9.14 seconds for cleaning three standard office windows.
The record-breaking event was part of a special demonstration where the Burrows duo invited challengers to try to dethrone Terry’s longstanding record. Though no one succeeded in beating the veteran’s time, Aliscia’s triumph added a proud new chapter to the family legacy.
“I’m not surprised—she’s a natural with a squeegee,” Terry said, beaming with pride. “It’s in the blood.”
With the Burrows now dominating both male and female categories, the family has become a window-cleaning dynasty, wiping their way into the record books once again.
