Veteran Danish golfer Søren Kjeldsen etched his name into DP World Tour history as he made his 700th career appearance at the European Open at Green Eagle Golf Courses on Wednesday.
Kjeldsen, 49, becomes only the fourth player in the history of the Tour to reach the milestone, joining an elite group that includes David Howell (723), Miguel Ángel Jiménez, and Sam Torrance.

Known for his consistency, professionalism, and resilience, Kjeldsen has long been a respected figure on the international golfing circuit.
“It’s been an incredible journey,” Kjeldsen said. “To reach 700 events is something I’m very proud of, but I’m not finished yet. I still love the game, and I’m looking ahead to chasing David Howell’s record.”
