Runner Aims to Break Record Dressed as Poo Emoji in London Marathon

A man from Staffordshire is set to bring humour, heart, and awareness to the streets of London as he attempts to run the London Marathon dressed as a giant poo emoji — all in the name of charity and a potential world record.

Tom Hall, 29, from Newchapel near Kidsgrove, will take on the 26.2-mile challenge wearing the unmistakable emoji costume this April, aiming to raise funds for Crohn’s and Colitis UK — a cause close to his heart since being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in 2013.

As if completing the marathon weren’t enough, Tom has added another goal: to become the fastest man to finish a marathon dressed as an emoji, a quirky Guinness World Record attempt that’s sure to turn heads along the route.

“It’s a fun way to draw attention to a serious issue,” said Tom. “Living with Crohn’s is tough, but this is my way of raising awareness and giving back.”

Supporters can track his fundraising efforts and follow his journey on race day as he blends comedy with courage — proving that even a giant poo emoji can carry a powerful message.
