Two hairdressers from North Yorkshire have officially entered the record books after participating in the world’s largest hair styling session, held on the vibrant Spanish island of Ibiza.
Kelly Young, who has run a successful salon in Knaresborough for over 20 years, and her colleague Helen Baxter were among a group of around 1,200 professional stylists from across the globe who took part in the extraordinary challenge.
The event, held on Tuesday, saw stylists working simultaneously on hundreds of volunteers who served as models, creating a high-energy celebration of creativity and global collaboration in the hairdressing industry.
“I don’t know how they pulled this off – it was absolutely incredible,” said Ms. Young, still buzzing from the experience.
The successful attempt now holds a Guinness World Record title for the largest styling session, showcasing the skill, teamwork, and artistry of hair professionals worldwide.
