Armed with a nail brush and determination, 19-year-old Lisha Dachor has completed an ambitious 72-hour nail-painting marathon in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the most fingernails painted in three days.
The event, held at a bustling centre in Plateau State, northern Nigeria, saw Lisha swiftly moving from hand to hand, applying vibrant shades of blue, pink, and purple polish to thousands of nails.
By the end of her three-day feat on Wednesday, Dachor had painted over 4,000 fingernails, far exceeding the required pace of 60 nails per hour as mandated by Guinness World Records.
“It was exhausting but so worth it,” said Lisha, who hopes her attempt not only earns her a place in the record books but also inspires other young creatives across Nigeria and beyond.
She is now in the process of submitting video footage, witness statements, and time logs to GWR for official verification of her record-breaking attempt.
As she awaits confirmation, Lisha Dachor’s colourful achievement has already made her a local hero — and possibly a global record-holder in the making.
