MK Food Bank Sets Guinness World Record with Over 102,000 Cans in a Row

MK Food Bank has officially broken a world record by lining up an astonishing 102,447 food cans in a single row — a feat now recognised by Guinness World Records.

The record-breaking display took place at Campbell Park as part of the MK Can event, bringing together around 250 organisations in a powerful community effort aimed at raising awareness of food insecurity and supporting those in need.

Guinness World Records adjudicator Jack Brockbank confirmed the achievement in front of cheering crowds, proudly announcing: “You are officially amazing!”

MK Food Bank said the donated cans would provide critical support during the winter months, ensuring no family goes hungry. “This will see us through the winter,” a spokesperson said, calling the record both “symbolic and deeply practical.”

The event not only set a global benchmark but also showcased the spirit of unity and generosity thriving in Milton Keynes.
