Massive Laddu Weighing 8,500 Kg Unveiled for Vinayaka Chavithi Festival in Andhra Pradesh

In a remarkable display of devotion and craftsmanship, Saladi Venkateshwara Rao, son of Satya Narayana Murthy, and his team of 16 members from Sri Bhaktanjaneya Sweets House prepared the biggest laddu (Indian traditional sweet) weighing an astounding 8,500 kilograms to mark the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi 2015 (Festival of Lord Ganesha).

The massive laddu was crafted within a record-breaking 12-hour period using 2,900 kg of sugar, 2,300 kg of tur dal, 1,100 kg of ghee, 700 kg of sugar chips, 800 kg of dry fruits, 40 kg of cardamom, and 10 kg of camphor. This colossal offering was displayed on September 17, 2015, at Tapeshwaram Village, Mandapeta Mandal, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, India.

The event was a testament to the team’s dedication, culinary skill, and devotion, drawing devotees and sweet enthusiasts from near and far to witness this extraordinary tribute to Lord Ganesha.
