In an outstanding public health initiative, Lions Club International District 323H-2, under the visionary leadership of District Governor Lion Mohinder K. Aggarwal and District Activity Chairperson Dr. Sanjay Vora, organized a record-breaking vision screening camp across multiple venues in 2015.
This unprecedented drive aimed at early detection of vision problems reached thousands of individuals in a single coordinated effort—earning the event national and international recognition.

“We believe that sight is a gift, and restoring it is a responsibility. This camp was a commitment to that cause,” said Dr. Sanjay Vora.
The camp was noted for setting a record for most people screened across multiple venues in one day under the Lions Club India banner, and it helped bolster the organization’s reputation as a leading force in community vision care.
This large-scale screening effort exemplified the Lions Club’s core mission of “We Serve,” particularly in the field of vision—one of the global causes championed by Lions Clubs International.
