Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday and to support the Save Girl Child, Educate Girl Child mission, Ketan Hirpara, a beautician and hair stylist from Surat, along with his team of hairdressers, performed 200 women’s haircuts—charging only Rs. 1 per haircut—in a single day.
The record-setting event took place on September 17, 2018, at K2 Beauty Baar, Chauta Bazar, Surat, Gujarat.
