Wildlife enthusiasts now have a new, eco-friendly way to explore the dense forests of Uttar Pradesh: the country’s first-ever Vistadome Jungle Safari Train. Launched by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, the train offers a unique slow-travel safari experience through some of the region’s most scenic wildlife corridors.
Unlike the traditional bumpy jeep rides, this Vistadome train features wide glass windows and a transparent roof that provides panoramic views of the lush landscapes and the diverse flora and fauna. Passengers can soak in the natural beauty at a leisurely pace, making for a more immersive and sustainable wildlife experience.
“This initiative aims to combine tourism with conservation by giving people an opportunity to appreciate nature while promoting responsible travel,” said a Tourism Department spokesperson. “We hope to attract domestic and international tourists looking for a new way to experience India’s wilderness.”
The Vistadome Jungle Safari Train is set to boost eco-tourism and generate awareness about wildlife conservation, offering both adventure and education to visitors. With its maiden journey already receiving enthusiastic reviews, it marks a significant step forward in sustainable tourism in India.
