India Sets Guinness World Record with Largest Cricket Ball Mosaic in Gujarat

In a visually striking celebration of sports and connectivity, Vodafone Mobile Services Ltd (India) has created the world’s largest cricket ball mosaic, measuring a massive 41.60 square metres (447 ft² 112 in²). The record-breaking installation was unveiled at the scenic Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Comprising 8,700 red and white cricket balls, the mosaic was meticulously arranged to form the Vodafone logo along with a promotional message — a tribute to crossing the 2 crore (20 million) customer milestone in Gujarat.

The design measured 10.085 metres in length and 4.125 metres in breadth, capturing attention not only for its scale but also for its precision and symbolism.

“Cricket unites India like no other sport, and this mosaic represents our connection with every customer,” said a Vodafone spokesperson during the unveiling.

The feat was officially recognized by Guinness World Records, marking another innovative entry from India in the global record books. Spectators, cricket enthusiasts, and brand loyalists gathered in large numbers to witness the grand mosaic reveal.

From cricket grounds to the riverfront, India’s love for the sport continues to inspire creativity and community. Vodafone’s record-setting mosaic stands as a testament to that spirit — uniting millions, one cricket ball at a time.
