Historic Treatise on International Day of the Girl Advocates for Girl Child Rights

In a remarkable feat of dedication and advocacy, Mr. Ninad Jadhav and Mrs. Varsha Jadhav from Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, created the world’s longest treatise to celebrate the 2nd International Day of the Girl on October 11, 2013. Their extraordinary essay, spanning a record-breaking 111.0 feet in length, was meticulously assembled by joining 113 A4-size white sheets.

The treatise is an informative and systematic discourse that covers the International Day of the Girl (I.D.G.), the impactful documentary Girl Rising, its partners, and highlights the achievements of their daughter, Akshara Jadhav, who serves as the Regional Ambassador for the International Day of the Girl. Akshara’s records and accomplishments are dedicated to spreading the message of “Love, Care & Educate the Girl Child.”

This milestone was supported by Narayanrao Bahuddeshiya Education Society, Nagpur, which proudly dedicates this record to all the girls around the world, underscoring the global call to action for the empowerment and education of girls.
