Barcelona, Spain | June 2025 — In an extraordinary fusion of music, technology, and the spirit of exploration, world-renowned DJ and music producer Burak Yeter has achieved a historic milestone by performing a live, uninterrupted one-hour DJ set at an altitude of 55,000 feet (approximately 16,700 meters) above the Earth — setting a new world record for the Highest Altitude Live DJ Performance.
Launched from Barcelona, Spain, the performance was part of Yeter’s ambitious “One Day In Space” project, which aimed to take music to new heights — quite literally. He was lifted into the stratosphere in a specially engineered high-altitude balloon capsule, equipped with advanced sound, video, and broadcasting systems designed to operate under extreme atmospheric conditions.
