British stunt driver Paul Swift has officially etched his name into the record books by performing a gravity-defying drive through an 88-centimetre gap on just two wheels, setting a new Guinness World Record at the Silverstone race course.
Known for his extraordinary driving stunts, Swift began honing his skills at the tender age of seven—starting with none other than the family lawn mower. Over the years, he graduated to more powerful vehicles and has now mastered the art of tilting a pickup truck onto two wheels with stunning precision.
“I’ve been driving on two wheels since I was a child,” said Swift after his record-breaking performance. “To finally get a world record that recognises that lifelong passion is absolutely fantastic.”
The daring feat took place in a specially constructed stunt arena at Silverstone, where thousands gathered to witness the high-adrenaline moment. The 88-centimetre clearance makes this one of the most challenging and narrowest drives on two wheels ever attempted.
Swift’s accomplishment not only highlights his decades of experience but also adds to the growing list of high-octane records being set by British stunt drivers on the international stage.
