Alpesh Kumar Jeram Bhai Karena, a dedicated journalist and writer from Lok Patrika Group, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, has made an extraordinary contribution to education by providing free writing assistance to visually impaired students during their exams.
From 2014 to 2023, Alpesh Kumar supported over 800 visually impaired students across various subjects, helping them overcome significant challenges and achieve academic success. His selfless service has made him the first Indian to assist the highest number of visually impaired students in examinations.
This remarkable achievement was officially recognized on 6th May 2023 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, setting a new record and inspiring many to support inclusive education and empowerment for differently-abled students.
