11-Year-Old Orphaned Boy from Amli Village Creates History by Completing Everest Three High Pass Trek

Daksh Mayurbhai Patel, an 11-year-old boy trekker from Amli village in Pardi Taluka of Valsad district, has etched his name in world history by successfully completing one of the most challenging treks on the planet — the Everest Three High Pass Trek — in just 18 days.

What makes Daksh’s feat even more remarkable is that he accomplished this without parents, navigating some of the world’s most demanding mountain terrain with sheer determination, courage, and discipline.

The Everest Three High Pass Trek includes crossing Kongma La (5,535 m), Cho La (5,420 m), and Renjo La (5,360 m) — all above 17,000 feet in altitude. These routes test even the most seasoned trekkers, with harsh weather, thin oxygen, and physically demanding paths.

Despite these extreme conditions, Daksh completed the trek in record time, impressing trekking professionals, mountaineering experts, and youth organisations across India and Nepal.

“I did this to prove that no matter your background or struggles, you can achieve anything with willpower,” said Daksh, reflecting on his journey.

  • Trekking and adventure organizations in Nepal and India are recommending Daksh’s name for inclusion in the Guinness World Records and the India Book of Records.
  • His story is already being featured in youth achievement forums and motivational platforms nationwide.
