Deccan Education Society’s Navin Marathi Shala in Pune organized a spectacular cultural event to promote awareness about Indian culture and the ancient epic Ramayana. The school presented the longest poetic spiritual drama titled “Geet Ramayana,” featuring 1,256 children under the age of 10.
The young participants performed various characters from the Ramayana continuously for 2 hours and 10 minutes at the New English School, Ramanbag Ground, Shaniwar Peth, Pune. This grand event successfully set a new world record, highlighting both the richness of Indian heritage and the enthusiasm of the younger generation in keeping ancient traditions alive.
